Everyone loves to receive gifts on their birthday, Easter, and especially Christmas, because those are the times when giving is appropriate, but why not give all of the time. Many people give constantly but they do not know that they are because it’s the little things that show how much we love and respect one another. “The greatest gift you can give is your time. It’s like giving a portion of your life that you can never get back.”

It’s the little things that take time out of your day that make all of the difference. A simple hello text, a short pass by conversation as you walk by a person, a wave from across the way, or even a quick smile that lets someone know you care about them can make all of the difference. It’s like the love of a parent towards their child. When a child falls asleep on the couch, a parent may throw a blanket over their child, or carry them up to their beds. When the child wakes up in the morning, they are warm and it almost feels like a hug from up above. So many people believe that the small things they do are never noticed, but those are the things that people notice so much. Many times I have heard of people receiving short hand written notes from those that they have helped and it is something that people will remember for the rest of their lives, but it is something that literally takes 2-3 minutes to write. That time is definitely worth it. The little things are everywhere and without the little things, the big things wouldn’t happen. For example, at a party, music is a pretty big thing, but if you don’t have a power cord for the speakers to play that music, it’s going to be a pretty boring party. These little things make big differences. Never not do something because you think it is pointless or dumb. These little things will make all of the difference!
